Why do I need an FFL for some purchases?

The sale of most firearms, and some firearms parts, are regulated by the US government. The system includes licensed individuals ready to verify that the purchaser is qualified. For example, Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) have access to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System and other tools. If the product you want requires it, you are responsible for obtaining the FFL and forwarding that information to us. For your convenience, this link identifies FFLs near you: FFL Lookup by Zip Code. The FFL holder is ready to explain everything and walk you through the process for a small fee.

When you have obtained authorization from an FFL, complete this form. Enter the order ID, full name of the FFL and upload of the document given to you by the licensee.
